Cory Booker's Urban Farm Sustainability Initiative Links Newark Conservancy to "Budding" Community Gardens in Greater Newark Area!
"We need a Green Pipeline running between the Newark Conservancy and the Greater Newark Charter School Community Garden," says Alex Marcoulides at the groundbreaking ceremony of the states largest Urban Farm the Hudson Hawks Community Farm on Hawthorne Avenue. "This Pipeline would run like veins through the city; kids setting up compost bins and Green Propoganda along the veins. It would be a Green Revolution," continued Marcoulides after speaking with Mayor and NJ Senatorial Candidate Cory Booker; the Champion of Agricultural Development in Urban Centers. The Mayor has played a major role in revitalizing the city of Newark, and has big plans on the national level for his and the plans of his supporters.
